A sale changes the next question
Consider a fictional shop with six Canvas Totes. One sale leaves five available. A stock figure becomes more useful when the team can review it alongside the sale, expected demand and the information needed for the next purchasing decision.
Agree on the records that matter
List the events your operation needs to understand: sales, returns, receiving and transfers. Discuss how teams review differences between recorded and observed stock. Connecting operations should clarify responsibility rather than hide it behind another dashboard.
Treat an alert as a review prompt
In the CyboCode sample shop, three products fall below suggested review levels. That is a reason to investigate, not an instruction to buy. A manager may need to check counts, outstanding orders, supplier context and changing business priorities.
Start with one connected story
Trace one transaction through the people and records it affects. Ask where the same information is entered again and where context gets lost. Use those observations to discuss the intended platform experience with the team. Discuss your workflows and integration requirements with the team.
Discuss how these perspectives fit your workflows, access requirements and business priorities.
